Perhaps fatigue did play into it. I don't want to start making excuses, but we did a lot of the same things we've done all year, especially throwing the ball. I mean that in a good way. JP wasn't that "off" in his throws at all. He had two long completions to Julio that were drive-defining plays called back on bogus calls. That took 75 yards off passing stats. We gave them the ball at their 3, and fumbling is beginning to be an issue. That took at least 3 points off the board, and considering the other 2 easy FG's that Tiffin missed, there are at least 9 points that should have been up there. So....26-14 doesn't seem quite so bad, eh?It's a good observation that fatigue probably worked on this team today. We still dominated the running game. Minus the 76-yarder, we still rushed for over 200.
