the leaves at peak color.
General Neyland and Bear Bryant.
Johnny Majors and Johnny Musso.
Peyton Manning and Joe Namath.
Peerless Price and David Palmer.
Al Wilson and Cornelius Bennett.
Dale Jones intercepting Mike Shula.
Bobby Humphrey rushing for roughly 206 yards in the '86 game.
Heart stopping finishes aplenty.
The rivalry that defined the SEC for many years.
The best Saturday of the season.
good luck!!!

This rivalry is:

An ocean of Orange in Knoxville
A sea of Crimson in Tuscaloosa
A showdown of the two winningest programs in the SEC
Smoking cigars or singing Rocky Top
44 wins for Bama and 38 wins for Tennessee
The most important Saturday in October
One of two oranges Bama fans hate.
Manning leading the band in Rocky Top
Rabid Bama fans singing Rammer Jammer

It's Alabama vs Tennessee.

It's good to be a college football fan in the South Eastern Conference.

He was good but not that good. I think it was around 217 yards.

To me, this is one of the best rivalries in college football. I hate the fact that since the SEC divided into divisions that the game is no longer always played on the 3rd Saturday in October. It seems to me when scheduling, the SEC could make this happen with ease, but they don't care about tradition, so they don't even attempt to do it.
