One of my favorite roles ever was Kilmer as Doc Holliday in Tombstone, but he was good in most everything I ever saw him in. ALways seemed to take his roles seriously. It was really cool how they handed his situation in Top Gun Maverick, even if it was a bit of a guy punch with the real life foreshadowing.
