| FTBL There could be three Iron Bowls in one season in new format. "I think that would be incredible."

As I've noted before, an Alabama team in the next ten years with two losses or less will always make the playoffs. Our nonconference schedule will assure that. I think we're more likely to meet aubrun in the playoffs than the SECCG.

Proves one thing.

The regular season matchup has lost its meaning and relevance.
How? Nothing has really changed except....
A....the eastern division teams ...like uga or tn...dont have a cakewalk through the season
B... be morepost season than "meaninless" bowls
C...nobody will care about players sitting out because that will only happenin "meaningless" bowls
D....Bama vs AU....#2 or #3 is a discussion item...rarely if ever to happen ...Bama vs uga repeated,....didnt reduce the relevance
E.... competition will be increased...
F....it should be the old farts....complaining about...regular season losing its "relevance"

Auburn was used for clicks. It's VERY possible for this to happen with Bama, this season, with UGA.

A game in the regular season followed by the SECCG. Both teams, with 12 in the playoffs, will get an invite...leading to game three.

That would definitely up the drama for sure. . .

I do think that as long as CKD can continue his success here, then we will probably be playing Jawja twice a year. Provided Kirby sticks around too.

Exactly. :(
The least they could do in this new era is to skip the conference championship games entirely, and repay the venues dependent upon those contracts with the conferences by using them instead for the first round of the playoff. How many fans will want to incur the cost of attending a conference title game if their team is playoff bound regardless??? Especially if they are saving their money and Paid Leave Time to attend a playoff game and/or national title???

Oline?

Have had plenty of oliners. But poor results
There's no "plenty" on the OL. IF they can grab the right guy they are going to...still watching that but the chances are dwindling.

Auto-upgrade with the coaching change, in my view. There's already a continuity, and there's a focus I like. Proctor, as one example, has been shedding his weight. I'm not worried about Booker. I'm just watching one position which I think Formby takes in the end.

Well. I can tell you this. Attending a season of games. Maybe a KO game in Atlanta or Dallas
SEC championship game
And 2 CFP games

Is rightly expensive already.

So are cutting back .... for Bama anyway... on the KO games in Atlanta or Dallas

So could be a hosting CFP or another trip participant in a game

One thing though. Could ask 12 of other SEC schools about the CFP cost and all they could say is " what you talking about" and 9/10 would say same about SEC recent cost of SEC championship game cost

I wonder if an opening round playoff game is handled just like a regular season game where we get the chance to buy our season ticket location for that one game?

I misspoke. I've always wanted the first round on campus with the higher ranked/seeded team having home field. But to my earlier point, you could allow these venues to host subsequent rounds as compensation for losing the annual conference championship game.
