Re: An opposing point of view
Hello Mexican Assassin, welcome to the board. You believe that Wilson needs to step up and IMPROVE. You believe he doesn't need to make the same mistakes that have cost 'Bama games in the past.
You believe he has a tendency to make the same mistakes, such as allowing 4.5 forty freight trains to crack vertebrae in his back as they rush in unblocked.
He should knock the linebackers on their backside when they plow into him 1.1 seconds after the ball is snapped.
When, after being flushed and rushed and sacked and harassed 40 times in a game, a fumble or an interception on one of those plays is his fault and his alone. He should have made something happen before his 1.1 seconds were up.
You believe he has a tendency to make the same mistakes while failing to mention that 9 out of 11 players on offense made the same mistakes that led to the same results on possession after possession in game after game for two years in a row.
I really don't think he is a great QB. I really don't have a need to see him in the game or play at all. If we had a QB that could have overcome the handicaps he had placed upon him, some coach was an absolute fool not to play him when it would have meant more victories.
Glaring hypocrisy is what I am pointing out. I am pointing out the fans who refuse to admit that the whole team has sucked. The ones who now feel like they are going to approve of Wilson now that he and the team are doing a bit better.
The fans who now wish to give their approval to him, yet still fail to recognize that he is doing marginally better because the team is leaps and bounds ahead of where they have been in past years.
Those types of fans and supporters are nauseating to me.
