An opposing point of view
Let me be the first to say that this is my first post.
I have been a lurker for some time and I enjoy the relative intelligence that most posters show.
In regards to the OP's post on JPW, I have a few thoughts.
1. He is QB #1 at bama. That means he deserves all the glory and all the hell that comes with the job.
2. He is a "servicable" qb IMHO. Look at his record as a starter. That is the measuring stick.
3. He has shown a tendency to make the same mistakes. Again, IMHO, that is not improving.
4. I will support him as QB #1 as CNS thinks he deserves to occupy that position.
5. I think he has to opportunity to rewrite his career path starting with a solid game this weekend. By all apperances, this game is/will be the biggest game he has played up to this point.
6. My question is this. Can he step up and IMPROVE, or does he continue to make the same mistakes he has made in past BIG GAMES???
