Marcus was a pretty good passer in his own right. In fact, when I mentioned earlier that they were close in terms of their numbers in '04 I didn't mention that Randle had better numbers in their passing game. In fact, better numbers in their running attack as well. Marcus, in my opinion, had a better ability to turn a "sack situation" into a positive gain.I'm sure, at least this is the way I see it, that playing 2-3 QB's a game is Saban's way of getting the back-ups snaps so they won't be as inexperienced as they might be without those.In terms of our team, it's been the staff's intent to get Greg more "live action" snaps this season. It just hasn't worked out that way.Of course, you have to take that last paragraph in context with it was Saban's last year in BR so the offensive system was firmly in place...that, versus, our situation.
