I've tried to judge fairly but it's impossible.  I just don't know what kids his age, in this sport, are going through. 


QB at Bama is one thing.  LANK is another.  Money is in the equation.  Guys just out of their teens dealing with agents.  The coaching change. 


If you listen to Grubb's press conference he basically says what I've been implying.  He mentions Jalen, the offense, and how Jalen wanted to be known as a passing QB.  His asset was his legs followed by his passing skills.  That created a disconnect between what the team could do and what Jalen wanted to do.  It created a disconnect between the staff and the QB, in my opinion. 


If there's one thing I think is overlooked?  It might be the biggest...Tommy Rees did a hell of a job with Jalen.   I did not think, as an upperclassman, the staff would have to deal with the up's and down's Jalen still suffered through.   Even with the speaker in the helmet ...
