Six different players scored in the road win for the Tide

RUSTON, La. –– The Alabama soccer team opened the 2025 season on Thursday with a dominant 6-2 road win over Louisiana Tech.

The Tide saw goals from six different players as Ashley Roni, Cali Brewer, Avery Brown, Gianna Paul, Maddie Padelski and Soph Martelli all found the back of the net.

From Wes Hart:

"Great win tonight. I thought we had some very good moments in attack. We created a lot of good chances and scored some really nice goals. To have six different goal scorers and six different assists shows that we have a lot of dangerous weapons and can score in a variety of ways. We've been on the road for three straight games. We are definitely excited to be back in Tuscaloosa Sunday to play in front of our home crowd."

How It Happened

  • Ashley Roni opened up the scoring off a cross from Gianna Paul in the 10th minute of the game

I guessed the Iowa vs LSU game would be a good one. It has been. It has everything today, in the first part of the first half, as we get with any form of football.

Announcers talking about bullshit instead of the game.
Instant replays.
Flopping.
Officials affecting the score, twice.
