I say development played the strongest role in our "no show" at the draft. We all know how the negative recruiting and the NCAA violations have hurt us. That horse has been beat to death and buried. The main reason I say development is because Castille was recruited hard by Saban. He made a good push, but I think family is what kept Simeon at Alabama. That doesn't mean that Simeon would have been an automatic draftee had he gone and played under Saban/Miles, but if he was a player that Saban would have wanted at LSU he has the skills/attributes to be NFL material IMO.
