"It was pretty embarrassing (to me) for a school as tradition-rich as ours to be a non-issue in the draft"I don't look at it as embarrassing.....I see it as confirmation that we haven't had the quality players that some have argued we do have. Coaching can only take you so far, no matter who's coaching. We can place the blame on Shula's coaching or recruiting skills or whatever, but IMHO this is just a consequence (directly or indirectly) of probation. It (the probation) did exactly what it was intended to do.
