From an AU fan's opinion, Alabama will have a difficult season.  You guys play four pre-season top ten teams (according to Athlon).  While there is a good bit of talent depth is still an issue, even Coach Saban has said that.  With that being said, I think the X-Factor for Bama's season is JPW.  When he was on you guys played great last year.  If he can play consistent, error-free football you guys have a great shot.  The pre-season polls are top-heavy with SEC teams this year, Bama has the opportunity to take advantage of what could be a wide open Western conference.

AU and LSU are the heavy favorites early, but both have new QBs and we will be breaking in a new offensive and defensive coordinator.  I'm excited about the new look offense and think (hope) it can't be worse than last year but it is a completely different system than our guys are used to.  While I'm sure our new DC is good, he's no Muschamp--that hurt a lot.

Bama could very easily be a sleeper.  In the West this year a team could realistically stumble once or twice in conference and still make it.  LSU isn't that strong, AU has a tendency to let smaller teams sneak up on us.  It should be an interesting year.  As much as I'd love to write you guys off, I just can't.
