Both my parents do free dental and ortho work for the Ranch, so he's always been in touch with us. When we were in the process of trying to get our school to get a football team (we meaning my family and a bunch of others), my mom told John the story. He was ready to come up to our school, do a huge fundraiser, speak, do whatever he could to help us. He was ready and willing. However, the board shot down our idea. So my mom broke the news to him and he responded with "Well, we can just go start our own school in Chattanooga."My mom wasn't quite ready for that step. But he was a great guy. Me and my brother have a football autographed to us personally from Brodie and multiple items signed by John. All the kids from the Ranch tell some pretty funny stories about Brodie.
