I liked the fact that there is a marked improvement in the conditioning and strength when compared to last year.
After reading the police report on Johnson and hearing Saban's comments, I don't think he did anything terribly wrong, other than be in the wrong place at the wrong time. I would bet dollars to donuts that disordley conduct gets dropped.
It also sounds like the bama coaching staff and the t-town police department are going to be working together to keep this from happening.

IMO he sounds waaaay to defensive and I for one think its time that some hard questions are answered. What is the deal exactly? I stayed on the strip every weekend during my college days and I did not once get arrested. Also, I remeber the bar I used to hang out at the most (Bama Beach Club) refusing to let in athletes. Does Witt need to step up efforts to turn the strip into grocery stores and fountains? Does the owner or management of this particular bar have some sort of problem with the football players? Or does the Tuscaloosa PD have some sort of beef with the team?
Whether they like it or not, the football team is under a microscope and there just needs to be some way to keep this kind of stuff from happening.
