That article by Dennis Dodd is loaded with one underhanded comment after another. I don't particularly like him.
Also, the whole thing about Saban making the player cry in Miami and running off assistants because he is too hard on them is bogus IMO. He seems like one of those people who are going to get in your face and get mad when you aren't doing right, but he's not going to insult you. Sometimes you have to break people down and then build them back up. It makes people stronger and I think it's the best way to run an organization.
And any assistant that can't handle it is probably just not as intense as he needs to be. Saban is someone who demands excellence, so his employees and players better be ready to deliver it. I think all these people that complain about him being too hard on people are just weiners (I'd like to use another euphemism, but that would be inappropriate) that can't take a little pressure and demand for greatness. They make me sick. Grow a spine and live up to expectations is what I say.
