| FTBL RR's wife commenting on Saban

Two notable things there:

1) At 4am Rita Rodriques has Nick Saban on her mind.

2) At 4am she is one hour removed from counting the sweaty singles from her hard night's work.

:)

Just 11 months later Alabama is 6-0 and ranked No. 2 in the nation. It received 26 first-place votes this week and, by SEC standards, has a favorable schedule from here on out. Saban’s statue outside the stadium is all but ordered.
:D

Think that last perm got to her head. If Michigan were to turn it around next season like Bama, she wouldn't have to lay in bed and think of Nick every night.

Okay, that was totally uncalled for.
On the other hand...YOU ARE THE MAN!!! That may be the funniest thing I've ever read here.

I am just glad she is rolling over at four in the morning and thinking about Nick Saban being at Bama instead of thinking about the crappy job her husband is doing in his second year at Alabama.

There used to be a story about Johnny Majors and the Bear, and that story included Majors' wife. The punchline is, "Bear, is that you?" Those of you who have heard the joke will probably chuckle at the similarities.

I'm LBS and I approve this message.

So do you think RR's reply was about football or about what his wife was thinking at that time and that location.

CNS is the man...even in the RR household.

Seems the Michigan AD has been talking with Rita as well.

The loss to Toledo was Michigan's first in 25 games against Mid-American Conference teams. And the upcoming schedule offers the Wolverines no favors; next is a trip to No. 3 Penn State, followed by a meeting with rival No. 20 Michigan State.

But Martin called for patience, noting that another first-year coach, Alabama's Nick Saban, endured a loss to Louisiana-Monroe last season.

"And where is he now? [No. 2] in the country? Second year," Martin said of Saban. "So things turn quickly."

I hope we schedule Michigan at some point in the future. I can't wait to use this look alike
