IMO, he is not going to build a winning program at M. St. but why in the world go to Rutgers where expectations are really low? Very few coaches have had success in NJ, plus all the east coast attitude. As for me, I would say no thanks!
Gotta be a lot of coaches desperate enough to take Rutgers. When u already have one with low expectations... why move
1 in 10 of very good team is about right for msu. .... who would really take a hc at state thinking they are building a long sustaining program

Agreed. At MS State there is at least a chance they could go to a bowl game. Any increase in pay, if any, would be swallowed by taxes and cost of living.

Can't remember if this is his last year to get vested in the state retirement system, or if his son is a senior. Both of those (vested, son graduated) will have to happen before he looks elsewhere.
