Basically, yes. The Tide Totals Point System is based on gifts to the University Athletic department. The more gifts (money), the more points. Its an incentive to give more to the school and it also ensures that folks who have loads of money can always get great stuff like the best seats or skyboxes. It stinks that I can't afford those things, but I do believe that people who give large donations deserve to be treated like VIP's. I know that if I gave a huge gob of money, I'd like to be able to get a sweet skybox myself. :wink:Cheers,SR
