I don't know Doug. The games that come to mind where we blew big leads (Arky, Houston, CU) it was the offense getting in a funk (mainly an int here and there by JP) that began our downfall. It seems this year that when the offense was rolling they were unstoppable, but when they got in a funk they couldn't get themselves out. The only exceptions would be the Arky game and the UGA game where we tied it for OT.Once the "big mistake" occured (for lack of a better name) the offense became almost elementary and just star struck. It's like no one could catch anything any longer and we were deers in the headlight. I can only imagine how frustrated the coaches were with this. So, I don't think it was the D that let up so to speak. It was the one big play that changed the momentum that we never could seem to capture back. If not for the int and Leigh Tiffin's FG we would have had ZERO momentum past the 1st quarter and a half the other night.
