Both Bama and Auburn got dawged yesterday. Today, fans on both sides are experiencing a range of emotion as evidenced by posts here and on Auburn boards. But I just returned from church with a different perspective on it all. I learned that former Bama cheerleader (who lives near me) had to have emergency surgery for her brain tumor.Ya'll will remember that they found a tumor on her brain a couple of years ago just as she was getting ready to return to school in the Fall. As a result of treatments and lots of prayers, it looked like the tumor was in remission. Meg was even able to be on the sideline cheering at last year's Auburn-Bama game in Tuscaloosa. Now Meg and her family need all our prayers again as the diagnosis doesn't look good.So I ask that Bama and Auburn fans quit feeling sorry for themselves over a FB game and pray for them as Meg struggles for her life.
