I'd say Kirby. At this point in time he's finding out what living outside of the east feels like. It's not working out the way people think it is in my view. He's still a good coach with a resume to back that up. I still won't be surprised if he only sniffs a trophy.

I can see Clemson 'backing their way into a title berth.'

IF they stay true to current schedules, it won't be in five years. They'll be drawing three P4 teams each season (IE: ND, UGA, and UofSC for a two year stretch.)

I have a hard time believing a 10-2 ACC team with get the same consideration as a 9 win team from the SEC or the B1G.

Agreed. And it could be that the Miami’s and FSU’s of the world get back to the glory days at some point, but Dabo has had that conference by the balls for a while now…without much pushback.

I think the larger playoff field will eliminate the pretenders who sneak in. Cincinnati from a few years ago is an easy first round kick. If an ACC team backs in, they'll just get bludgeoned in the first round.
