Nope, that's his actual price. The story about it made the paper. He said with gas over $4.25 a gallon, he wasn't selling very much anyway.
And you won't find gas for under $4 around here. The Murphy station at Walmart is the cheapest at $4.15 yesterday. Diesel is almost $6 per.
Is that affiliated with Walmart? The Murphy's up the street was $4.10 yesterday. The station I bought at $4.20 two days ago is $4.09 this morning.
The Murphy's...for that dime a gallon? Look at this image for a second and in your minds eye think about driving through the place. There are six or seven pumps stations here...two car lengths from parking in front of the store and pumping. If that.

Never mind. I just looked. W+ has added Murphys to their discount places (Exxon, Mobile, Murphy's.) The station across 78 is a Mobile...paid $4.10 with W+.
To be honest, I sorta like the idea. It's the kind of thing you throw in a drink and a biscuit (for free) and you're still making a killin'.
Alabama is different. There's one more state and I forget which one, that only gives a nickel discount, All the others are a dime.

The Scan and Go I've used...free returns from home I've used. The 5 percent cash back card I'm using for all Walmart purchases (and that's expanding to other stores.)
