It's simply mathematically impossible using the BCS formula.It was Auburn's schedule that kept them from a berth in 2004. Seven of the eleven teams they faced in 2004 had losing records. Right now, seven of the nine wins Penn State has are against teams with losing records.The BCS formula kept Auburn out in '04, and rightfully so. That same formula will keep Penn State out, and rightfully so. (assuming 3 undefeated teams)
