Two Penn State alumni have received the OK from the borough to install a projected $300,000 life-sized bronze sculpture of Joe Paterno in downtown State College, Penn. And they're hoping the statue, will be installed by fall of next year.

He should have a statue somewhere on PSU's campus honoring him. In spite of Sandusky's best attempt to mire the university in something completely egregious, JoePa helped transform the university into what it is now. Sure, there are a lot of great graduate school programs and research projects going on there! Awesome academic institution. I wonder where a lot of that money used for that originally stemmed from, whether from thirty, twenty, or even three years ago.
