I agree, that attitude is borderline insanity.  Imagine if Tulane was the first game and Clemson was the second game.  How different do you think the reaction would have been from the "fringe."  The simple answer from an average fan like myself is we played great in the first game, and played poorly in the second game.  Like the Colorado Coach said "This is Division 1 football!!!"
