Thomas Darrah was a second tier prospect coming out of Newnan Ga...some thought he might be a sleeper. He was recruited by 1AA schools and had some interest shown by MAC level programs, but the big programs did not call. That was kind of surprising given some of his performances...he had over 350 yards passing and 6 touchdowns against East Coweta. He added another TD rushing for a total of 7.Even stranger is that Darrah was 5A first team all-state in Georgia as a Junior (in spite of playing on a losing team) and did not get recruited...VERY unusual at the QB spot. It may have had something to do with his status as a baseball prospect.Many observers peg him as a more accurate passer than Fanuzzi or GMac, with a much stronger arm than any other QB on the roster. He lacks experience and may lack the "it" that makes a great player...time will tell.
