I figured we'd drop at least 1 spot in the AP.

But who knows how good Kentucky will turn out to be.
 
I can't believe that we didn't fall.

Maybe it's because Kentucky was undefeated and had the No 1 defense in the nation.
 
I noticed that LSU received one #1 vote in the Coach's Poll.

I wonder who cast that vote, The Hat himself? :D

He's got the right. Tressel was voting OSU #1 a few years ago when the OSU vs Michigan debate was on everyone's mind IIRC.

Gary Pinkel also has a case for voting his team, too, but he didn't. Plus, I do not even know if Miles did actually vote for his team--just assuming so. Heck, it could have been Sly or Tubby for all we know.

Btw, why isn't America's most powerful college coach not on this board? Or did I overlook his name? :?

I'd almost bet, if asked, he would turn down the opportunity. "...got better things to do" than worry about a poll.
