Are you a student at the University of Alabama who’s always dreamed of suiting up for the Crimson Tide on Saturdays and running out of the tunnel at Bryant-Denny Stadium?

Now just might be your chance!

Official social media channels for the program posted information for their annual walk-on tryouts, available only to full time students at UA:

You must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours this semester, but if you meet that criteria, this could be your time.

Tryouts will be held next week on Tuesday, January 21 at 6:00 p.m. CST. Students who are interested can report to the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility at that time and try to show the coaching staff why you deserve to be a member of the team.

Walk on tryouts should only be only for rich kids in the transfer portal.. it should be full ride scholarship tryouts instead.. maybe we can find the next Vince Papale, out there…
Tired of these ungrateful douche bags, telling BAMA to shove our scholarships after a year..

I think the thought process thing you have going on needs to be recalibrated... Mention that to your doctor on your next visit.

I really don’t think there is a problem with what I said… If anyone is a walk on ,it should be these well to do big ego BRATS…A scholarship should only be given to the people that need them.. the other guys should be treated as employees… since they can come and go as they please… they have no loyalty to anything or anyone but the Almighty dollar..

Can you name five walk on players who went on to have successful career at Alabama or anywhere?!

I'll leave Bama alone after this; the old man points to Dabo and I'll point to Hunter Renfro in that lane.

JJ Watt. Blankenship, kicker from UGA. (Stetson Bennett as well.) Baker is another. Clay Matthews. One of my childhood favorites? Linebacker on the Cowboys: Darren Woodson. (Ha, Kurt Warner was another.)
