Yes, Vince Papale! I met him at a swim meet once. Really nice guy, very down to earth. His daughter actually goes to Syracuse U. (where I work) and I've emailed with him (she studied abroad last semester). Truly surreal!

I say he probably hangs it up at the ripe age of 70.

He wins this one and 2 more in the span of 6 years, he'll have his own legacy that surpasses the Bear. And in 15 hears here, he will have done it in 10 fewer years than the Bear did. And although Saban may not have the total wins or conference titles the Bear had, I think the Bear would tip his fedora in respect.
