RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State football will earn at least $2 million for its participation in the season opener against Virginia in Brazil on Aug. 29, 2026, with opportunities for much more, according to a release from a public records request.
NC State University will also receive up to $500,000 from the fan travel package and 20 percent of the net revenue for its participation. According to the report, NC State will receive that extra revenue by June 30, 2026 before the game is played.
