Before the Rankings release on Tuesday I wonder what everyone believes they will be. They could be drastically different from the AP and Coaches or they could follow along the same lines. I tend to believe the Committee will send a message to some conferences/teams about their sub-par schedules out the gate this year instead of waiting it out like they did last year. They kinda wanted to let CFB work it's magic last year but there were definitely some teams that just had super easy schedules and finished without losses despite not being a top 10 team. I'm interested to see how the 12 team model changes opinions on things and if it allows for more wiggle room to get the better teams in or if it's just another issue where scheduling and going undefeated against very mediocre teams is a better play in the long run.
My guess:
1. Oregon
2. Georgia
3. Ohio State
4. Texas
5. Miami
6. Penn State
7. Tennessee
8. BYU
9. Notre Dame
10. Indiana
11. Alabama
12. Boise State
13. LSU
14. Ole Miss
15. SMU
16. Texas A&M
17. Clemson
18. Iowa State
I think Vandy might squeak into the top 25.
