I think the top 8 selected by the BSC system Regardless of Conference ties. I think the current BCS system would chose enought of the best teams to feel good about the NC. I know number 9 would scream bloody H??L. That keeps the drama of the current system and allows best teams in. Some years you would have 3 or 4 SEC teams playing for NC. Some you would be lucky to have one. 1st set of games would be the 4 bowl games next week the semi and next the NC game.
