Limiting my comments solely to the issue of moving jobs.

Tubberville has been at Auburn for, what, ten years now?  Even though many have speculated he has pursued other jobs, he has outlasted DuBose, Franchoine, Price, and Shula at UA.  In fact, only Fulmer has a longer tenure at one school in the SEC than does Tubberville.  So, you may be a little off base.

Petrino.  No doubt you have a valid claim.

Meyer, as you pointed out, made a number of coaching moves in short order.  But, as you also inadvertently pointed out, each of his successive moves was to a much better job - Bowling Green to Utah to UF.  Not really sure he will find a much better college job from which to move from UF.  So, he will be a long-termer there.

All that said, I am beginning to grow a little uncomfortable with the way Meyer pushes the envelope with all the negative recruiting.  UF provides him with EVERYTHING a college coach could imagine (both athletically and academically - with frankly the latter being more impressive than the former), yet he constantly dwells on short-selling another program.  Nothing really unethical about it all, just something I do not find compelling or worthy.
