I went to Birmingham yesterday to see R. Lee Ermey, the actor and television personality best known for his role in "Full Metal Jacket". There were lots of us in line that never made it into the building where he was at (Hoover Tactical Firearms). He had to leave to catch a plane so there was no way for him to extend his visit. He came out and shook hands with those of us who never got to get his autograph inside. He apologized that he didn't get to see all of us, and he said he would come back and spend two full days so he could see all of us.If I get to see him again, I'm getting there EARLY next time.
