HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Alabama softball rallied from an early deficit to Southern Miss Tuesday afternoon, scoring four unanswered runs to earn the 5-2 comeback win.

Torrence struggled in the circle a little bit. 3.2 innings 5 hits 2 runs (both earned) 4 walks 3 Strikeouts. I listened to the game, so I don't know what kind of strike zone the ump was giving, but it must have been pretty consistent because the Southern Miss starter had about the same stat line over 5 innings.

After last year's debacle in the WCWS, I hope Fouts gets the start; she only went 3.5 last night. On the other hand, Kilfoyl needs the work. Fouts could come in and slam the door shut if needed.

With Terry's record on pitcher predictions this season, I would go with whoever he doesn't predict to be the starter.

With Fouts having to close it down last night, will we see Lexi get the start tonight against the Noles? @TerryP You seem to be the pitcher predictor here.
FWIW..... Chris Stewart said on the broadcast yesterday, barring a last minute change that Lexi would be starting against FSU. He said she is a good pitching match up against FSU's style of hitting.
