šŸˆ Kick off times for the fall. (Bowl Schedules Released)

The last two home openers have been night games. MTSU, in '23, was at night but an awfully hot day hitting the mid-90's. However, the last two years it's been fairly mild the first week of September: mid-80's as high's.
Mild in Tuscaloosa is a MF everywhere else though...been to all...maybe i wasn't feeling welll last year though...plus some crap weather....

But its hot most everywhere.....but a 11 KO first few weeks of September...........( October even)
Expect hot....you wont be disappointed ...

But free ice water available....go home early if its crap game...( saw ohio state gonna be early September....)

And its FOOTBALL

It's not a horrible day; not a marquee match-up day either. The AU v BU game in the afternoon may get interesting though right now I have my doubts it'll get my undivided attention. Now, LSU and Clemson that night? I expect that to be a decent ball game.

BUT, it's also a game we'll get tired of hearing about that week.

Overall, Labor Day weekend is sort of "meh."

Chillin n grinning

When the Sooners and Wolverines met Week 2 of the 2025 college football season in Norman, the clash garnered the primetime slot on ABC and was the most-watched game of the week with 9.7 million viewers.

ESPN College GameDay was also on campus that morning with OU basketball legend and NBA All-Star Trae Young as the guest pick to represent the Sooners. About 2.6 million people tuned in just to watch College GameDay with OU's campus in the background, which will dwarf any viewership for Big Noon Kickoff. However, having the Sooners involved will definitely boost the program that week.
If the Sooner there wants to compare audience number with the two TV shows he's got a point. ESPN brings in a little less than a million more eyeballs, on average, than Fox does with their pre-game shows on Saturday mornings.

If he's wanting to emphasize the viewers of the game and compare the 9.7 million from last year? Yeah, but no. Ohio State and Texas averaged over 16.5 million of their noon game last season.

I think we'll admit the OU vs UM game is in the same class as OSU vs TX. They aren't on the same row with TV ratings.

Until a few minutes ago it had slipped my mind they moved this game to ATL. That move (last season) evidently hasn't gone over too well with their fan base according to what I've seen this morning.

Brandon and I talked about this a few months ago. I don't remember if we talked about the ticket splits. In my view, that'll make a difference on how this one plays out.

@Brandon Van de Graaff looking forward to "how many W's ..." hopefully starting with Lane's crew.
