I think Peacock has a 7 day trial, at least they use to. I used it once to watch a game last year... Will probably sign up under a new acct and do the same on Friday. At least ESPN+ is included with a lot of cable/streaming packages... but I don't think some folks realize that.

I've told this story before.

If you don't want to go through the hassle? Just go to a sports bar.

Years ago Bama was playing Vandy and it was PPV. I went to a sports bar in Mt. Pleasant to watch the game. A guy sat next to me and one of the first things I noticed was his ring. Didn't say shit. (I know, uncommon.)

We talked about the game. About a lot of things Bama related just watching football.

Around the middle for the fourth I introduced myself. I knew who it was...Darwin.

Point being...if you want to watch the game? Go to a bar and spend $20.

That's my PSA for this weekend.

The Vandy game I was referring to was the week after that game with ... who was it? W or E Carolina? I vaguely remember that game...Bama put up fifty and I can't recall if they allowed a TD: seems it may have been two field goals.

Brother and I went to that Western Carolina game. I don’t remember a ton about it other than a WC player getting the bejesus knocked out of him on one play. I believe it was a running back. We saw his mouthpiece fly from our seats. Seems like Coffee had a good game that day.

Coffee didn't have a bad day. I remember Terry Grant having a great afternoon. As I recall, they didn't make it into the red zone that game.

It was one of those games vacated by the NCAA.
