| FTBL JPW---- NFL bound?

i searched alot of bama players on that site..

julio ranked #1 freshman WR
ingram ranked #1 freshman RB

the list is huge.. for a team that got very little respect 3 months ago, our players sure get alot of nods..

what a difference a season makes

With so many injuries, there are a lot of NFL teams going three deep at QB. When you see blue chippers like Vince Young and Matt Leinart holding clipboards for old guys like Kerry Collins and Kurt Warner, it's obvious that you can never have too many quarterbacks. How bad did the Cowboys suffer without Romo while he was out?

JPW could very well be drafted and make an NFL roster based on his headiness alone. Stranger things have happened.

As far as durability goes, JPW is 10x better than Brodie Croyle. I would also think that the guy who holds essentially every passing record for The University of Alabama should at least get several invites to NFL camps.

If I were evaluating him, I would take a guy with his ability to scramble, take a hit, and operate an offense from under center, not the shotgun, before someone like Tebow.

Yep, no kidding.

He is definitely going to get a shot with someone. I tend to think he'll be drafted late on the second day, but if not, he will sign as a FA. Like Reger said, the need for QB's is just too great. Look at the freaking Lions... Culpepper walks in off the street and is starting for them mid-season. There is a mega-shortage on QB's, and Wilson has the tools to be a serviceable QB in the NFL for several years.

that's great for JP.
Since i don't follow pro ball much....how's Brodie doing with the Chiefs?

Torn ACL. Suffered in the Titans game. I really hate that for Brodie too...

JPW has learned how to manage a game and not take chances, let "the playmakers" make the plays. He couldn't have done any worse than the QBs that played while Romo was out :) I don't think he has reached his potential yet, the pros might just be a good fit for him (given a few years to learn the game and work on that deep pass) who knows :)

Good luck to JPW-he deserves a good look :!:

i agree that he is still growing as a player..

he has adequate arm strength, adequate size, and a very level head.. there are alot of roster spots for those qualities in a pro quaterback..

Oh yeah.I'd like to see him go in about the 5th round. The 5th round has produced at least one good QB= Matt Hasselback Seattle Seahawks
