I really think the GA game will all come down to John not making the mental errors he has in the past. Its absolutely crucial that he does not try to make something happen out of nothing on our own 10 and in. If John has a good game I say we when.
Im hoping he stays on schedule. I hope he's on this week.
Clemson - On 22-30 180 yds - 2 TD
Tulane - Off 11-23 73 yds
W Ky - On 17-27 215 yds 2 TD - 1 INT
Ark - Off 6-14 74 yds - 1 TD
UGA - ?
I think the offense is set up this year with JPW doing all these dink and dunk passes. Sure he has missed a few deep balls, but I've also seen players slow or pull out of their routes at the same time. Its not always his fault. We have to remember we dont have Hall, Brown, or Caddell to bail him out. He's looking at guys with not alot of live game time.
Im looking for Julio and gang to step up this week.

I'm confident that the offensive line will continue to help the offense establish an efficient ground game and provide pass protection when JPW is called upon to throw. When JPW has a little room to work back there, he tends to make consistently good decisions.
This game will be won (like most) at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.
RollTideinGa I wouldn't necessarily call JPW off in the Arky game. % wise it wasn't great but he threw the ball away 4-5 times when receivers were covered. We also didn't need to throw the ball to win the game. JPW managed the game well and we won that is what matters.
I know ive seen alot of people posting that JPW is pretty bad when he is being pressured but I wanted to point out that in my eyes he has gotten better this year at being better under pressure and not freezing up when he is... hes able to get away from the guys that are almost getting him and either a. throwing it away or b. trying to get a completion out of it. In my eyes that makes him better than he was last year... but this could also be contributed to our OL giving him better protection than last year... i think that the coaches have probably been working with him on situations when hes under pressure during practice by doing 4-5 man blitz's on him and hopefully have gotten his confidence up... we havent had to pass a whole lot this year with our dominating run game but im pretty sure were going to see what hes made of in this game against GA.
JPW is a good QB. Its just sometimes I think he tries to hard to make something outta nothing. This year he seems to have something different in him. He has thrown a few passes away and even ran a few times when no one was open. If he plays smart like this we should be able to run the ball and with him making smart choices we ca beat georgia. This has a chance to be his signature moment.
Now you're just talking crazy! That would have taken a coach that had years of experience as a college quarterback -- someone that had coached quarterbacks at the pro level -- someone that was even the son of a coaching legend perhaps!
Where the hell do you suppose we could have found a coach like that?
