| FTBL Iron Bowl Question

I am going to the Iron Bowl game and was thinking about parking at the university mall and taking a shuttle to the stadium. Just wondering when the shuttle picks up and drops off and if this might be a good idea to do or if anybody has any better suggestions? I plan on getting there early for pregame activities, etc... :?:

I like the Tide Ride. Roll Tide Randy does not. I usually park at Central HS. That way you don't have to worry about missing the bus if you are doing some extra celebrating.

Ditto. Central High is an easy 10 minute walk to the stadium and provides easy access to McFarland when leaving.

I like Central as well myself. I have an Iron Bowl parking dilema though.

I was given a parking pass that I've used this season for the 1st time. Great parking, great getting out of town, restrooms, etc... From the very beginning I was told I probably couldn't have it for the Auburn game though. I know this sounds ridiculous, but here goes. I've parked at Central for years before this season and well, you know.

I thought I'd let go of most all of my silly superstitions and believe me I know they're silly. I guess I'll deal with it later....just don't know where I'll park.

The way Auburn is playing, hopefully it won't make a difference. But, I hear ya. My new lucky Bama flag has been flying on our house since the first week - and it ain't budging 'til next year!!!

Bama Delta, I might can help you with your dilema. I can let you know later. East side of campus and access to the Crimson Ride.

I parked at the mall and rode the bus last game I went to(W Ky). I was pleased with it. They pick up/drop off at the back of the stadium and my tickets were for gate 4 on the front. That was the only walking we had to do. We ate at Applebees at the mall afterwards.

I recommend taking a Gulfstream g550 to Tuscaloosa Regional and take a limo from there to the stadium. This cuts down on all the hassle of trying to find a parking spot, etc...

I really don't know why more people don't choose to do this; it is distressing.

Just kidding guys.

Whatever makes you feel better. The 10 minute walk won't kill you, and you will a warm-fuzzy feeling from upholding the superstition while supporting whatever charity the parking fee will go toward. As for the restroom, well, you're a big girl and I'm sure that you can handle it. :)

That said, I was in Tuscaloosa last week and had some real Gucci parking in the ten Hoor Deck. It was really nice, easy in and out, but we did have to leave the deck to engage in the environmentals and for tailgating.

The way I see it, you're in a Win-Win situation so pick one and stop stressing yourself out. We need a focused Delta there for the game...its part of the Process.

I know right... this way has worked for me many years.

Ah, I'm not stressed LBS (at least not about this) :D . I'm channeling all of my stress - well, let's call it nervous energy - into the LSU game. Y'all might as well just put my away somewhere before the game. Each week it seems to build and build. I'm just thankful that the game is an afternoon game. I really don't know that I could take it all day long.

I'll think more about the parking later. I'll be an absolute bundle of nerves for the Auburn game. That game means so much to me, but I have to deal with the other ones first. :)
