IOC votes to get rid of Olympic wrestling for 2020

Check this out. Apparently the Olympics used to have the tug of war, motor boating, cricket, club swinging, solo synchronized swimming, tumbling, rope climb, live pigeon shooting, pistol dueling (AWESOME, but with dummies), and long jump for horses.

Does anyone else remember when they did 'exposition'/'demonstration' Olympic events? Like I distinctly remember seeing footage of guys on motorbikes in a cage of some sort.

I was cracking up reading some of these. Kite flying? Military patrol? Roller hockey? I think we should try tether-ball and 4-square, I'm kind of a boss at both.
