Tubs is grasping at straws. The Trotter kid will be good in a couple of years when he has had the chance to redshirt and put on about 20-25 pounds. He will get lit up and broken in two against the SEC this year. I have coached against that kid and he is very knowledgeable but he can't take over the play calling duties like Tubs needs. The Caudle kid is out there on bad knees and it would be onlt a matter of time before he was carted off. They should just suck it up and stick with what they have.
