Caveat: It made me pretty mad a few years ago when there was a guy flying one over the neighborhood. I didn't like having a drone looking at my friends and I in my back yard (encased with a privacy fence, mind you) so hearing people are "on edge" about this comes as no shock.
The "Chinese balloon" was one thing. I still don't know what to make of that other than ... another story, another day.
I've enjoyed reading Walter Kirn over the years. He mentioned on X he has sources that say they are looking for a weapon. I do know the whole thing is just weird.
