I figured Lou's OSU pep talk tonight gave you the ultimate adrenaline rush.

Another classic "skit." That is what you call 'em if that make you laugh, right?

Do you suppose that the execs at ESPN realize more people are laughing at this feature than considering it worthwhile? Hell, as soon as it started I hit the mute button.

The Zenith in my media room has the smart sound feature that mutes out the commercials...why on earth they didn't make it where I could program it?!?!?

Terry, you mean you chose to use the mute button instead of hearing Lou sputter about squeezing oranges and making orange juice?

I'm saying to myself, this can't actually be how the man gives a pep talk? Who in the locker room could keep a straight face?

Cliche lisping at its best!

I have to admit that (although) these "pep talks" are comical, Holtz is actually a very good motivational speaker (or he was a few years ago).

I use to work for International Paper, and a few years back they hired him to speak at an IP conference. I went into it with doubts, but (like many) came away from his presentation highly impressed (and, dare I say, quite motivated  ).

His speech has become more "slurred" since that time, I'm not sure whats going on there.
