because in most cases it would get your foot in the door to big time football. i would think that going from d-1aa head coach(or what ever they are), to being an OC in the SEC would be the proper and logical steps in moving you're coaching career forward. not knowing his age (just to lazy to look it up) he might want to stay put, because he looked to be getting up there in age if i remember correctly.
