Cool play. Looks legal to me. It's pretty much the same as a lateral. He caught the ball...and tossed it backwards.

Legal in my book. Very smart play by that kid. He knew he couldn't catch it in bounds...so he tossed it to the "open" man.

From what I've heard, Florida may have a say in that before all is said and done. They are certainly trying to work their way in more than they are right now.

They had a guy make a play similar to that on defense a few years ago...can't think of who it was (maybe Dansby?) but I do remember seeing it on Sportscenter a few times and also on "Cold Pizza" when that was a daily show on ESPN2.

You're correct Terry.

If memory serves Auburn picked off a pass in the former Peach Bowl against North Carolina in a similar fashion on the sidelines.

I'd forgotten about that...
