The more I watch/see from the Utah contingent, the more convinced I am that they have no idea what they're getting into, & what they're about to face in the Sugar Bowl. :roll: ;sh I think they have one idea of what football is, & we have an entirely different conception of the game. There's NO WAY to make them understand what we're about, until game time. Seem like nice folks, but don't really have a clue.

It would be a fun team to have in Tuscaloosa at some point. The "shock" of what game day was like to the Hawai'i fans was interesting to observe and hear them talk about.
Heck, I talked to A LOT of OU fans who walked away from the BDS experience shaking their heads in amazement.
Now, add that and then make it a Sugar Bowl appearance?

The worst team in the MWC vs the worst team in the SEC and the MWC wins...not a pretty sight in my opinion.
That said, I've never witnessed a team just give up as badly as I saw the Volunteers just "mail it in" a few times this year.
It was truly pathetic. I hated seeing it and believe you me, when it comes to a team I don't like, UT ranks higher than any other. Yes, that includes Auburn.

lol Well, I could see where you are coming from. It doesn't make the SEC look very good when Wyoming beats teams, low-tier SEC teams or not. But I will say that if you think that Wyoming upsetting our bottom-feeders means that the MWC is equal to the SEC then you're in for a world of hurt come Friday. :wink:
In all fairness I think this will be a great game. Utah is a great team that I loved watching during the few times that I could. So don't take any of this personally, I just can't help myself from getting caught up in it all and trying to rib rival fans.

Actually, Bama plays in a big boy league that is only slightly less intimidating. Don't let the Tennessee game give you false hope.....UT had a lame duck coach & most of the team had mailed it in before the season even started. Play that game now with the same talent, but a different coach & watch what would happen.TerryP said:
I'm really not trying to dis the Utah team at all. I just don't think they can match up with Bama, or more importantly, I don't think the MWC can match up against the SEC......it's just a different brand of football. We only have a few more days to wait before all the speculation is laid to rest.
BTW, while I'm at it I'd like to say that IMO the Utah fans that have been on here have been very civil compared to what we usually get from opposing fans. Most of what has been directed back at you has been largely in jest (speaking for my self, of course) ........don't take it all too seriously.
