http://www.marketwatch.com/ - This is the Wall Street Journal's personal financial website.  It is well written in plain English and covers a wealth of topics.  Much of it survives from their former personal finance magazine Smart Money.  The topics under personal finance are typically spot on, and the retirement calculator is excellent.
