I would tend to agree that Georgia was the best team playing last year out of the SEC at the end of the season.  But, I also feel that their early season losses have to be taken into account and since they didn't even win their division, much less the SEC title, they made the bed they were forced to sleep in.

As to the SECCG, to win the conference you have to win the game.  I see it as part of the regular season and a good example is how basketball is done.  We have a regular season champ in B-ball and a tourney champ.  Probably not the best example, but to claim a SECC you have to win that last game.  If you don't, you don't get it.

No, I don't fall into the category that the BCS is the right system.  About the only thing I did agree with Roy  on was the SECCG game.  I thought that was a brilliant move.  I am in the segment that likes the plus-1 game...but, I digress.

You are making two different points here.  One, you are saying that making noise will change who we play and now you are saying making noise will change the BCS.

Neither is true.  It is what it is.

If we were under the old system (pre-BCS) we'd likely not see OU, TX or USC in the Sugar.  What is in place now, versus what used to be in place...still the same story.

Fact is, the agreements in place now go through 2014.  If people want to make noise, make it then.  Pick and choose your battles...when and where they take place, ya know?
