If we go back before the BCS, we'd likely see much of the same in terms of locations with the exception of Alabama. We'd be in the Capital One Bowl.
You evidently don't like Utah getting the invitation. I, on the other hand, look at that team and have to say they've had a good season. They have played some teams that aren't that good, but on the other hand they've played some good teams and won as well.
Utah has the ability to give us a hard contest. I wouldn't discount this match-up as somehow being "unworthy" of Alabama.
Let me pose a question for you. West Virginia lost their last game of the year last season and it bumped them out of the NC game. Using your argument, should they have been given a shot last year instead of LSU?
FWIW, we aren't undefeated in the regular season. We are 12-1. The SECCG is part of the season.
